Oskar Brezovic (35 Years)

In the 35 years of working at IJF Oskar has acquired numerous skills leading him to where he is today, starting off in cabinet making, factory supervising, and co-ordinating several projects on sight. Then in the year 2000 he found himself in an office environment as a setting out operator. He is currently working in a Senior Project Co-ordinator role, having taken on board “The New Royal Adelaide Hospital” and many other projects. Having Oskar as part of our team for 35 years, is a compliment to himself and our business.

Romeo Paradiso (30 Years)

Romeo Paradiso (30 Years)

Carpenter by trade, Romeo began his journey with IJF in 1985. In amongst these many years, he moved to Sydney for 4 years as an installer and supervised numerous Job sites in Adelaide. Romeo has been working as an installer for 30 years and continues to do so, with an abundance of knowledge and quality skills behind him. Romeo has been a great asset to our team; and we look forward to many more years of service.

Colin Penny (25 Years)

Colin has been with the IJF team for 25 years. 1990 is when he started his journey as a wood machinist, and continues to work in the machine shop having worked with many machine operations. It’s been a privilege to have someone with such great experience work for our team.

Gary Monteleone (25 Years)

From age 12 Gary worked school holidays for IJF on site installing with his father (Murray Monteleone) and also worked in the factory on weekends, he would also wash cars. In 1989 at the age of 17 he worked as a wood machinist. Following this in 1991 -2000 he moved his way into production management, in 2001 then into supervising shop drawing and the setting out department, then into construction management. In 2009, Gary became 1 of 3 second generation family shareholders. Having acquired many knowledgeable skills this leads him into his current role as an Estimating Manager. In 25 Years of service, the skills Gary has acquired has made him a very versatile member of the IJF Team. This shows great experience and achievement in his many roles within the business. We hope to see many more years of service in the upcoming future.

Lou Vicario (25 Years)

Lou Vicario (25 Years)

Back in 1990, Lou started his working career with IJF. His 25 years of service has not gone unrecognized. He started off as a cabinet maker and over the years has ventured in to a new role as an Assembly Supervisor within the factory. We have had the pleasure of watching Lou become a leader within the working environment here at IJF, and hope to see many more years of service.

David Monteleone (20 Years)

David Monteleone (20 Years)

David has been around the business atmosphere from such a young age, at the age of 12 his first job was to sweep floors on a Saturday at the 12000m2 Kilburn factory with Cousin Mark (Current Manufacturing Manager). The family set the ground rules and ensured the second generation family earned their stripes! It was official that he became a part of the IJF team in 1995 where he started his first role as a sales assistant in the show room. After 2 years he then moved to Sydney to become a project co-ordinator, then taking on his new role as an Estimating Manager. In 2009, David became 1 of 3 second generation family shareholders. In 2012 David ventured into his next role as a National Sales Manager. In 2014 he became General Manager for the company, and continues to do so. David has obtained many quality skills in his 20 years of service that give him the qualifications of becoming a great leader in the business.

Cain Kearny (10 years)

Cain started his apprenticeship with IJF back in 2005 as a cabinet maker, giving 10 years of service to the company. He continues to do so, producing quality work, and being a respected member of the IJF team.

Dzung Mai (10 Years)

In Dzung’s many years of service as a cabinet maker, taking a bit of a break in 2005, he returned to IJF as a setting out operator. As he continues to work within the business it is great to see his positive and outgoing personality and attitude towards his work colleagues and how he approaches each job.

Nick Dark (10 Years)

Starting as a Machinist apprentice at age 19 for IJF, Giving  10 years of service, Nick is now working as an optimizer for the company, helping with the ongoing factory functions of the business to run smoothly. It has been great to see Nick’s growth over the many years at IJF.

Harold Hopkins (20 years)

In 1995 at 20 years of age Harold began his apprenticeship in cabinet making. He has played a big role at our Queensland factory, and in his 20 years of service has undertaken several other job roles within the factory environment and on site. These include assisting out on site, machining, assembling and installing. This shows Harold’s great versatility to work in any department of the shop floor duties. He is a very valued member of our team and we hope to see him excel in the many more years of service here at IJF.

Stephen Richter (10 Years)

Carpenter Joiner by trade with over 30 years of experience, Stephen has been installing quality joinery for IJF since 2005. A very qualified and skilled member of our team, He has worked and continues to do so having installed and supervised numerous job sites in Victoria. The 10 years of service has not gone unrecognized, we acknowledge Stephen as a valuable member of our team. We hope to see many more years of great service.

Matthew Dolman (5 Years)

Beginning his journey with IJF back in 2005, Matthew took a small break in between and came back in 2010. As a site supervisor having well over 10 years of experience, Matthew’s incredible ‘Can Do’ attitude and joinery knowledge have allowed him to supervise some of the biggest projects in Melbourne, and in Adelaide for IJF.  We hope to continue seeing the progression and high standard leadership skills and work Matthew has provided for IJF for many more years to come.

Scott Lane (5 years)

In 1997 Scott began working at IJF, where he started his apprenticeship in the polishing industry, completed a traineeship in machining and cabinet making. Scott took a little break with IJF and returned in 2010. He has worked numerous other jobs within the business environment, including despatch controller, warehousing and currently within the last 10 months has been co-ordinating the movement of joinery at the New Royal Adelaide Hospital.

Timothy Barr (5 Years)

Timothy received his education at Ocean View High school. At 15 he started his first school based apprenticeship with IJF in cabinet making. Working every aspect of the factory duties, Timothy has gained a lot of knowledge and versatility within the business environment. Flat packing and preparation of joinery assembly is his current role at IJF. We have seen great growth in this young man over the last 5 years.
